 Our Mission 

Founded in 1998, the South Country Education Foundation is
a nonprofit organization committed to improving educational

opportunities for all students in the South Country School District.
The mission of the Foundation is to promote and enhance educational

initiatives by providing supplemental financial support for projects and

programs that are outside the South Country School budget. The

Foundation seeks to forge a cooperative effort among the members
of the community to help expand educational opportunities and to

capitalize on the special resources we have available in our district.

SCEF grants have been instrumental in augmenting our students' educational experiences. What has been truly amazing is that all of these grants have blossomed into projects that have continued to be supported by the South Country School District. From the professional development training to the purchasing of additional equipment, these grants have continued on. Without the commitment and support from many people, these projects would not have succeeded.
